Matteo Di Iorio graduated with honours in Industrial Design at San Marino Republic University, IUAV Venice. He started his career in Studio KmZero in Florence where he developed strong skills in typography and branding. Just after the graduation he moved to Treviso to join Fabrica (the communication research centre part of the Benetton Group).
The scholarship at Fabrica has been an incredible opportunity to work and collaborate with fellow young creatives from around the world. This experience made him realize his inherent need to go out of his country and try to reach his goals.
In 2013, he has been hired by Thomas Manss & Company and started to work in their London office. In the English– German studio he started to work for international clients such as Museum of London, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Hotel Arts Barcelona, Fedrigoni and many more. He worked on different kind of projects – editorial, branding and exhibition design – taking care of them from the early concept stage to the final production process. During these years, he improved not only his design and branding skills, but also his communication skills starting to deal directly with clients, interior designers, curators and suppliers.
In 2015, fascinated by MAM’s projects and ambitions, he decided to join their newborn design agency Cucuma. In Cucuma he started to have a more critical role in the design process, having the pleasure to lead projects for international companies like Technogym, Neri, Mitto and Quilvest.
During these experiences he has picked up many skills that made him a person of order and precision, not only in graphic design but also in everyday life. He is also a good team worker and leader and flexible person. In all the projects he has been involved he used his strategic mind presenting solutions instead of problems.
He is looking for new adventures that would allow him to use his skills, strategic thinking, creative abilities and passion for his job.
